Photos for Rojahn Custom Cabinetry
Here are some photos we captured for Rojahn Custom Cabinetry. This new construction home was designed as a replica farmhouse with antique wood flooring and even original antique iron nails. The kitchen would need to represent the feel of an old farmhouse kitchen with modern upgrades including appliances by Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove. The centerpiece of the kitchen is the giant custom built island with a walnut top. The counter tops were soapstone with striking patterns. The sink is a very special piece in this kitchen. Imported from Shaws of Darwen, this "Fireclay Apron Front Farmhouse" sink was hand crafted in Lancashire, England. Each sink takes a month to craft from "Heavy Ball Fireclay" and they've been made the same way since 1897. The faucet above the sink is a Moen Brantford single handle faucet with a pull out sprayer. Shiplap, Red Brick and Tile surround the kitchen and each blind corner cabinet has its own swing-out shelves. We used a bottle of wine from Castoro Cellars to help showcase the smooth and forgiving surface of the soapstone counter tops.
