Whitewater On The Susquehanna

This past weekend I stopped by the Holtwood Dam on the Susquehanna River to do some fun aerial video for the Whitewater Park Playboaters. This dam only releases water for the whitewater park a limited number of times each year by Brookfield Renewable , the power generating company. These kayakers wait months sometimes and travel from far away to get out and surf the surge of water, even in the cold temps! They use a special type of kayak and are very well trained in keeping their head above water. Certainly nothing I'll be doing any time soon :) I'll stick to the air!
