Boardwalk at Wildwood Park, Harrisburg
One of my favorite places to capture wildlife photography is at this hidden gem of a park called Wildwood Park and is located right next to HACC in North Harrisburg. There's a nature center for the children, a bird-watching window, places to picnic and fish and you can walk or jog around the 2 mile path that en-circles the park. If you want to get a little dirty you can choose a couple of the rougher trails like the Fox-Run Trail and the Lakeside Trail. Along the Towpath part of the loop you'll see all sorts of herons, egrets, wood ducks, turtles and more. There's also a butterfly garden trail you might like.
